And if you wanted a temperature-check on what costumes are going to be all over your social feeds come October 31, Google has your back, releasing a list of the most searched Halloween costumes for 2018 (i.e. the ones you shouldn’t be surprised to see everywhere.)
Surprisingly, Google Trends’ findings revealed some fresh, surprising costume ideas that differed from those featured in reports from other platforms, such as Lyst and Pinterest. Still, plenty of longtime favorites managed to break the top 10 (like witch and rabbit), alongside more timely ideas (a princess reference to a recent wedding, perhaps?)
