It is based on the true story of an American black bear who ingested a bag full of cocaine in 1985.
In September 1985, the body of police officer Andrew Thornton was found behind a house in Knoxville, Tennessee, wearing a parachute, Gucci loafers, and 77 pounds of cocaine tied around his waist.
Further investigation then found an empty duffel bag, which is said to have contained the remains of a bear laced with cocaine, which investigators believe had been dead for approximately four weeks.
Because the bear had already found this cocaine before the investigators did and he had consumed it by opening the duffel bag.
